If you're interested in curing cancer with nutrition then you'll want to avoid the following types of foods. Some alternative health experts actually refer to them as "cancer feeders." These foods also engender other types of illnesses too. The foods to avoid (along with the other health problems they can cause) are as follows:
Meat: Most meat, especially coming from mass production beef and poultry industries, contains growth hormones that have been used to quickly fatten up the animals before slaughter. These hormones are not only potentially carcinogenic, but the high fat content leads to clogged arteries, heart disease and bowel diseases because of the length of time it takes for meat to be digested. Meat literally begins rotting in the colon before the waste products are eliminated.
White Sugar: Refined sugar is a major cause of disease today. In the early 20th century a typical American only ingested about 5 pounds of sugar a year. Nowadays, it's probably closer to about 170 pounds. It's been demonstrated in various studies that white sugar feeds diseases such as cancer, diabetes and ADD while also significantly contributing to conditions such as depression and obesity.
Standard White Table Salt: The body only needs a very small natural amount of sodium chloride each day. The refined salt used by most people today is found in most packaged food products, so most people far exceed their daily limits because they're often ingesting salt without knowing it. Table salt contributes to kidney problems, hypertension, arterial sclerosis, liver dysfunction and high blood pressure.
White Flour: This food product is what is leftover from grains that have been stripped of literally everything nutritional and then bleached. It sticks to the intestinal walls and acts as a barrier against vitamins and minerals being absorbed by the body during the digestive process. It's also responsible for the chronic constipation problems that plaque millions of people who are on the Standard American Diet.
Caffeine: This is the preferred drug of choice for many people. It's highly addictive (a well-known fact to those who try to get off of it). Caffeine constricts the blood vessels and makes the heart beat faster -- hence that "pick-up rush" enjoyed by coffee, tea and soda drinkers. But the long-term effects can lead to things like liver damage, kidney damage, high blood pressure and stroke.
