Will There Be a Cure For Cancer in the Future?

Cancer is one of the most serious diseases in the world which currently takes millions of lives every year. There are many different forms of cancer, some are aggressive and some are not. There have been significant advances in treatment and cures for cancer over the past decade, although none have so far worked all the time. It is highly likely that we will find a cure for cancer in the next two or three life times. Most likely not in our life time for every form of cancer. Although there will most likely be substantial improvements for specific forms of cancer, in our lifetime.

The reasons why I think there will be a cure for cancer eventually found is the large budgets being given to medical and testing facilities. There is also substantial donations by non Government organizations and this will be significant in the long term. Cancer usually affects one in every two people by the time we reach sixty years of age and it is a major worry for every one. Frequent check ups aimed at prevention are advised and should be done either monthly or annually depending on your family history.

The more fundraising we do the quicker the cure will be found. Top medical experts are researching and experimenting with cures as we speak. Just this week there was significant improvements in trying to find a cure for colon cancer. It is promising that methods that treat cancer have improved so much over the past decade. There is still a long way to go to find a cure.
